We are starting two new sermon series at GRBC!
The first is a study of Job. Learn about the man and his struggles in an interesting way.
The second sermon series focuses on the core of our beliefs: doctrine. What do Christians believe? Why? We’ll take a look at this subject on the first Sunday of each month.
Did you know that you are God’s gift? Did you know you have a gift
within you? Join us December 11th, 18th, and 25th as we take a look at Christmas in our series Simple Christmas.
The Fall Festival was a great success this year!
We had over 1000 people from the Glen Rose area stop by and enjoy our hospitality and refreshments! Thank you to everyone who was able to volunteer, and to all who came out and said hello! It was nice to see new faces and old friends!

We are starting a new series called “Back to School.”
We are going back to school to re-learn lessons we all need to be reminded of. We will talk about parenting, marriage, and our relationship with God.
The series will be August 14th- September 4th. We hope to see you here!
Starting this Sep
tember, Glen Rose Baptist Church will offer a new idea for families in our community.
Family Experience will be a 10 week Wednesday Night service designed for the entire family. Family FX services will be two parts:
6:00pm-6:30:
A meal time will be offered so that you can take a night off from cooking and eat with your children and other families.
6:30-7:30:
Worship time, featuring music for both kids and adults
Games (a fun time where your family can play together or with other families)
Study (a time where families will be given the tools to worship and learn God’s word together)
Each week will also contain a special devotion (a take home, easy to use family devotion time)
Family FX is not just for GRBC . This study is open to all campuses.
Well, Vacation Bible School is over, and we had a great time. We are glad to report that we had several children accept Jesus as their Savior this week, which is what VBS is all about!

It’s time for Vacation Bible School! Children from pre-K to 5th grade are welcome to join us from 6-8 pm for fun, games, and learning! We are so excited about this year’s theme: Big Apple Adventure! VBS is bilingual this year, so everyone can learn about Jesus. We hope to see you and your children there!

On Easter Sunday, we celebrated Jesus’ Resurrection with our church family. It was a great time of worship and fellowship, and after church, we had an Easter egg hunt for the kids. Here are a couple photos from the egg hunt!
God is still blessing GRBC. We continue to have new people visit. In 2010, we moved into a larger building just off of the Glen Rose square, and are currently in the process of creating a special place for our children’s ministries, as well as adding a playground and a kitchen. The bottom line for all of the work we are putting in on the building is people. We are made to be connected to each other, so we are striving to make our building safe and inviting for families.
Our goal for 2011 is to invest in others and invite them to church. We are going to focus on introducing people to our savior. So far this year, we are learning about the reasons we believe the things we believe. It has been very interesting to go deep into the scriptures and read about things like eternity and the Holy Spirit. Very soon, we will be hosting some interesting and helpful classes on marriage and family. We will also be connecting with the Glen Rose community in several ways during the coming months. This next year promises to be an exciting one at GRBC!
The Reeves Family
On January 23, we were able to hear from Tarl and Adrienne Reeves, future church planters to London, as they shared their vision for bringing the gospel back to London. After their message, we were all treated to a delicious potluck lunch. We really enjoyed this time of fun and fellowship!
