Glen Rose Baptist Church

It is time to register for AWANA! Our program will kick off this September the 19th, from 5:00-6:15. We will meet every Sunday at the same time. The cost for participation is $20, plus the cost of the program book and uniform. The payment is not due at the time of registration, and we have scholarships available to qualifying students. If you are interested in enrolling your kindergarten-fifth grader in this exciting program, please fill out the form available on the kids page of our site! Thanks in large part to our great team of volunteers, we were able to have a fantastic time at VBS this year–our very first one!. A lot of new kids came to learn about Jesus, and the wild west theme was tons of fun! We look forward to posting some pictures soon, and can’t wait until it’s VBS time again next year! Fortunately, we have AWANA to tide us over!

A few weeks ago, we were able to move into our new home! This space is a great deal bigger than our old location, so we are excited about filling it up with more people! There are classrooms here, as well as a nice sanctuary space that will let us continue our usual services without being too cramped. We are loving the interior of our new home, and are looking forward to seeing it get all of the finishing touches. This new place will be such a blessing when we have events, and we can’t wait to share it with everyone! Stop by and check it out if you haven’t already!

We are having several church-wide activities this month:

On June 5th, all youth (and young at heart) are invited to come up for a Halo/ Rockband tournament! Come out and show your skills!

On June 6th, join us Sunday morning at 10:30 to have breakfast with your church family! Please bring something to share!

This year, GRBC is taking our annual mission trip to Bramwell, West Virginia. Bramwell is a small town located near the border of Virginia, in a large coal mining region. The purpose of our trip will be to work on building projects, VBS, and wherever else we are needed. Dates for the mission trip are August 6th-14th, and the cost is $3oo. Please consider joining us as we journey into Appalachia to spread the love of Christ.

We are hosting a number of summer activities for children, all of which are $10 each, including lunch! Activities last from 9:00-2:30, with drop off and pick up at the church.

July 30th, Skating

August 6th, Swimming
