Trip to Guatemala

A team from GRBC and Granbury Baptist Church recently traveled to Guatemala with MANNA Worldwide to visit and learn about what MANNA does. The team enjoyed their experiences, and came away with an appreciation for the good work that MANNA does feeding the body and soul.

New Sermon Series

We are starting two new sermon series at GRBC!

The first is a study of Job. Learn about the man and his struggles in an interesting way.

The second sermon series focuses on the core of our beliefs: doctrine. What do Christians believe? Why? We’ll take a look at this subject on the first Sunday of each month.

The Fall Festival was a great success this year!

We had over 1000 people from the Glen Rose area stop by and enjoy our hospitality and refreshments! Thank you to everyone who was able to volunteer, and to all who came out and said hello! It was nice to see new faces and old friends!

Back to School

We are starting a new series called “Back to School.”

We are going back to school to re-learn lessons we all need to be reminded of. We will talk about parenting, marriage, and our relationship with God.

The series will be August 14th- September 4th. We hope to see you here!

Coming Soon: Wednesday Night Services

Starting this September, Glen Rose Baptist Church will offer a new idea for families in our community.

Family Experience will be a 10 week Wednesday Night service designed for the entire family. Family FX services will be two parts:

6:00pm-6:30:

A meal time will be offered so that you can take a night off from cooking and eat with your children and other families.

6:30-7:30:

Worship time, featuring music for both kids and adults

Games (a fun time where your family can play together or with other families)

Study (a time where families will be given the tools to worship and learn God’s word together)

Each week will also contain a special devotion (a take home, easy to use family devotion time)

Family FX is not just for GRBC . This study is open to all campuses.

Well, Vacation Bible School is over, and we had a great time. We are glad to report that we had several children accept Jesus as their Savior this week, which is what VBS is all about!

Thank you, volunteers, for making this event possible. We couldn’t have done it without you! See you next year at VBS 2012!

It’s time for Vacation Bible School! Children from pre-K to 5th grade are welcome to join us from 6-8 pm for fun, games, and learning! We are so excited about this year’s theme: Big Apple Adventure! VBS is bilingual this year, so everyone can learn about Jesus. We hope to see you and your children there!

Es hora de Escuela Bíblica de Vacaciones! Los niños de preescolar a quinto grado son bienvenidos a unirse a nosotros de 6-8 pm para la diversión, juegos y aprendizaje! Estamos muy contentos con el tema de este año: Gran Manzana Aventura! VBS es bilingue este año, para que todos puedan aprender acerca de Jesús. Esperamos que usted y sus hijos allí!
